I am delighted sharapova has gone out of the US Open tonight even though she played well. I have always questioned the need for her screams during tennis matches, screams which used to be described as a grunt - no longer can it be called that though and it is blatently used to give herself an advantage over her oponent. It's an agressive screetch which lasts from her own stroke until the oponent returns the ball, surely this should be banned - it's cheating plain and simple! Tonight Sharapova's sream/screetch/roar, call it what you will must have reached new decibels, it hurt my ears. Glad for the poor people watching that she is out!
