Has anyone seen any news about him? He's been entered for races; then not declared etc. and in some early lists for bigger races was listed as doubtful. Have stumps been drawn; retired; injured etc?
he had a wind op after the guineas,was supposed to run in the minstral stakes back in july but didnt.
Sounds like another St Nicholas Abbey to me, goes to the Guineas with a big reputation, runs a stincker and you don't see him for the rest of the season. It sounds to me like they can't rediscover that sparkle he had at 2 so there trying things like wind operations in the hope it makes a difference, but it clearly hasn't hence the fact he didn't run in the Minstral Stakes. The horse is clearly not the horse he once was. I wouldn't be suprised if he never raced again, what's the point in running him in lower grade races and tarnishing his reputation even more, they may aswell just get what they can out of him at Stud
