I have downloaded a apps to my phone and tablet called MOBDRO. It allows you to watch loads of sports channels (Sky and BT). Also films, Attheraces, RacingUK and loads of other stuff. It is free. Just google MOBDRO and follow instructions (think it is MOBDRO.COM). One thing you have to do is ALLOW UNKNOWN SOURCES before you download and once it is done suggest you turn UNKNOWN SOURCES off.
Think you can do it for PC's and Laptops as well.
Anyway Happy New Year and here's hoping for a winning start for 2016.

Nigsy - thanks for the info.

I have just downloaded it on my phone with no issue. Norton identified it as a "medium risk".

It works very well and loads the channels very quickly with no need to close the pop up adverts. Quite impressed to be honest.

I would be very grateful if any IT buff could verify it is safe or highlight any potential issues. I am looking for the catch as it seems "too good".

"The app collects and sends data on installed apps and their usage." A medium privacy risk according to Norton.

I've used it - good for Sky Sports, but not for streams - use TVMC for that. Also, try Showbox, excellent for shows and films
