The way I see it you have two choices

    1. Don't support newcastle united because you have had enough.
    2. Shut up complaining attend the games and support the players, the manager and our owner.

Doing anything in between is not only pointless but also stupid quite frankly.

Nobody wants to use their hard earned money just to feed your egos so deal with it.

I choose option 1 by the way and understand 2.

It's possible to do both by the way, support the players but also make Pardew's life hell.

It's possible but it won't help anything at all.

Our owner is a cheapskate any manager would be like general custer under his regime.

It's history repeating the same morons with their vile painted cloths just making things worse.

Its not really in my opinion. Its all part of the same atmosphere. It is very very clear the players are suffering as a result of the pressure Pardews under. Don't get me wrong, we're not very good on paper anyway but I still think they are playing worse again due to the ongong situ. Its why it should ave been dealt with in the summer. It will always be the case that it is impossible to separate the two things - players and manager. They have to work together to achieve results.

I'm not a big fan of protests and booing etc bar the comedic value. It doesn't acheive anything unless the owner gives a **** what fans think. Ours doesn't. So all we get is a negative atmosphere and really nervous players who aren't that good to start with.

I'm sorry but I have no idea how anyone can choose not to support a club. Being a supporter is something that becomes part of who you are, not something you can switch on and off when it suits you. I didn't choose to support Newcastle United - it just happened and there is **** all I can do about it now. The weird thing is that no matter how **** it gets I wouldn't want to stop supporting them anyway. Things were far worse than this not that long after I started going to games in the 70s and that didn't stop me. Back then we had a greedy owner and chairman and a manager who sold off our best players. It's ****, but in my opinion you support a team for life - no matter how **** it gets.

Couldn't agree more, once a fan always a fan regardless of how bad it gets.

I agree but consider yourself as addicted to a drug and the drug not being up to scratch. If you complain to your dealer and go elsewhere he would improve the product he'd have to in fact if all his customers did.

It's called people power my friend but I'm wasted explaining this to too many.

What your saying is option 2 by the way simple enough for you.

Don't complain to your dealer while handing over the cash.

    Grow some balls and quit.

    Or keep being ripped off

So you only want me if I'm black? Racist.

We've agreed for ages to be fair. I said we were **** ages ago. I said when everyone got excited over a few signings they didn't look all that and we were still short on quality and numbers.

100%. How do our fans currently in meltdown think the clubs supporters who never see their club leave League 2 or the Blue Square Premier feel? Any club has the potential for more with the right ownership and direction. Supporting is about so much more than when things are going well. Its retaining a sense of humour when things go south for instance!

The comments in response never cease to amaze me.

There are two options not three.

Neither one is wrong or right but anything other is ridiculous.

Like the idiots I see on Jeremy kyle and judge Judy they just wont ever get it and thus a life of disappointment continues.

You don't half spout some crap. There are as many options as people want. I, for example, support the team but made the decision at the start of last season to not spend any money that would end up in Ashley's pocket until he showed some ambition. I don't go to matches or buy merchandise. I watch every game and feel every level of emotion, but watch it through a stream, not through sky. So, there you go, a third option, and there are many more.

In what world does "I support the team" equate to "Don't support Newcastle United".

I don't post on here that often but read the comments purely for the amusement of your delusion that you can never be wrong. Are you actually Alan Pardew?

You don't support them financially at all you dont attend games if anything they are supporting you and your sense of well being. I never said not supporting meant you don't care sausage breath.

Thanks for noticing I'm right, however clearly if I'm right I can't be delusional uh oh I'm right again.

You're just the latest hermit frog to demonstrate an incapacity to comprehend even the most basic of options.

Just got to grit your teeth and get on with it. Believe it or not, I've known worse times than this. The fans will be here a lot longer than Pardew and Ashley. Hopefully, not much longer.

My brother has stuck with luton through thick and thin. The **** he has seen over the years and myself as I have more than a soft spot for them is beyond belief. 3 back to back relegations, 40 points deducted in two seasons, three defeats in the conference playoffs, two being in the final, a truly horrific year when pub team Utd after bottom feeder FC beat them badly until St John of Still worked his magic. I wish we had the premier league equivalent of him.
