Me, I would say Julen Lopetegui .... he worked in the Spanish youth set-up for four years to 2014 and has spent the last two years as Manager of Porto gaining 2.37 points per game on average (but still sacked a few days ago). Yes it would not be a long term appointment as he would use us to try to get a Prem Team but it could persuade Lookman to sign a new contract and we do have rather a lot of young players in the first team at present. Just a left field suggestion as Carol obviously ain't going anywhere soon. AllHell
Steve Clarke or Pearson would be great. Would even take Di Canio, would certainly give these players a kick up the arse and has history with the club.
It will be Euell. Cheap and will appease a lot of fans (not me). Bold thinking, AH - but he wouldn't put his reputation on the line for us.
