    Whilst reading Nufc.com I realised it's 11 years to the day since I almost had my head staved in by a kindly group of Feyenoord fans before our Champions League game in Rotterdam.

    Memories include:


    1. Almost getting done over by home fans before the game when the cab driver kindly dropped us off on the wrong side of the stadium
    2. The poor bloke who came back with 4 beers just before half time, all of which went flying when Bellamy scored
    3. The Feyenoord fan at half time trying to break down the plexiglass screen between us and the home fans - even the local police were p*ssing themselves laughing at his efforts
    4. Bellamy's injury time winner
    5. Almost being put on the train to Amsterdam by the police although we were staying in Rotterdam

    Was there, remember getting a shuttle bus with lots of Newcastle fans on after the game and everyone was buoyant. For some reason I had about a fair few layers on, by the end I'd taken most of them off in celebration every time we scored.
