Released Sunderland keeper Gordon was reportedly offered a three-year deal by Celtic last week, only to reject the deal with Neil Lennonâs side. Celtic have subsequently signed Newcastle Unitedâs Fraser Forster on a permanent deal after the Hexham-born stopper spent last season on loan at Parkhead. Gordon will now look to explore options both abroad and in the Premier League, where he has been linked to the likes of Wigan, West Brom and Arsenal. In the meantime, Gordon is working with former club Hearts during pre-season after the Tynecastle club offered the 29-year-old the chance to train while he bids to find a new deal.
