Back in August I didn't think I'd be able to start this thread with those four words!

How many points do you think it will take to stay up this year and which three sides do you think are for the drop?

53 points will be enough I think mathematically, although I think realistically we are actually safe now. Also the encumbent bottom three still have to play each other a few times. I think it will be as it is now unless the Blades start to get a decent run following their win last night and Palace falter at home as well as away.

My money would be on Preston ,Scunthorpe, and Crystal Palace (or Sheffield Utd)

In the last three season the average points of the last relegation slot has been 48 points. So as per my response to a previous thread I think we will be definately safe on 52 points,. Although I think we have enough points now. As for those going down, Preston I reckon are gone, as for the other two spots, its to close to call with mini runs taking place. Look how we shot up the table on 6 wins.
