£750m the FA spent on that bloody stadium and the pitch still looks like a field of sprouts!! National Disgrace!
Has it ever been good? I remember that first season, and it was terrible then. Something has gone wrong in the design of that stadium. Once a the pitch is down, they just can't seem to keep it growing okay. For three quarters of a billion pounds, I would expect a design that could at least look after the playing surface. Hell it's nearly ten years since the Japanese had that pitch you could take outside.
Thing is it's in shyte condition and there's hardly ever any phuker playing on it!! OH, and GET IN!!!
It's because they had the NFL there a few weeks ago. They put new turf down over where they painted all that crap on the pitch.
God knows why we have to have that crap in our stadium, especially if there is any chance it will be of detriment to the pitch for an England game.
