    They are actually in Burslem on the north side of Stoke on Trent, so technically is part of Stoke but that normally does not go down too well with either Stoke or Vale fans

    Yes thats why I said near Stoke, it would be like saying Sunderland is in Newcastle, if you were speaking to a Sunderland or a Newcastle fan you'd probably get ya head kicked in.

    No it wouldnt,they are two totally different places,Vale is in Burslem which is one of the 6 towns of Stoke on Trent so it is in,not near Stoke on Trent.

    I should know,I do live there (unfortunately)
