...having had a lovely evening out on a beautiful Paris evening...now slightly in shock...did my beloved QPR, a team full of 'stars' really lose 2-0 this evening?

Can anyone who saw it, or was there, shed any light on what on earth went wrong this evening?

I need an explanation so I can sleep in peace! Thanks.

Brighton just wait and wait until we puff our lungs empty. The rest was easy to them and even medicore pub team would have nail it against us during the last 15 min. Totally gutless performance and they should shame on themselves.

We were in control right untill we were'nt. Hoilett is a greedy **** with poor decision making abilities.

First Goal, scorer left unmarked, tap in. (possibly got the cross in because BAE lipped off, not sure if it wasn't a cover for screwing up again)
Second, Even softer, gave away a soft corner when jenus fell asleep and it bounced off his leg from 10yrds. Could'nt defended it. Again.

Learnt 2 things Kean & Hoilett can't play together, were are knackered after 70 mins every game.

Apart from that morrison tried, Traore tried but is better on the left and that is about it.

Sleep easy we're still a shambles.

Thanks for the replies...not happy reading before bed. Basically seems it is far to easy to work us out, nullify the threat, and nick a win. Surely Harry should have realised this and made changes.

We should of easily won this game.
I thought we were much the better team for the majority of the game.

Brighton were poor. We were worse. A negative shambles. Kean upfront is so lightweight and ineffective. Redknapps comments don't make sense. We never looked like scoring if we played all night. Woeful

Keane should not be starting for a team pushing for promotion. End of, this is what HR has deemed good enough or TF affordable enough, I'm not sure who is to blame, but its frustrating if not embarrassing. Yes I'm drunk

Can someone shed any light on exactly what Hoillet gives the team? Am I missing something?

He is truely sh*te. Poor decision making time, after time, after time. Cant cross, cant shoot, lightweight, runs into blind alleys, pushed off the ball. With him on the wing and lightweight Keane in the middle we are stuffed.

We should have been 2 or 3 up before we gave those two goals away tonight. Shocking last 15 minutes.

As for Assou-Ekoto or whatever his name is, yet again he's cost us a goal. After it went in Green and Hill were screaming at him. Thats probably why he went off, injured pride!!! and he doesnt give a sh*t it seems. Walked straight down the tunnel. Good player when he wants to be, with an ego and bad attitude

Once again our players show that we are not up for the physical battle. Teams have found us out . We're a soft touch. No passion, no desire and no ba•ls.

Just home myself and cannot work out football as Brighton were very very poor and so was the game
We were totally in control until Brighton got a slice of luck and got behind us for a composed tap in
No ones fault there
Second was awful as I was in line with both goals and saw the second from the corner 5 secs before it was kicked

Barton actually spotted the ball down for them and no one defended the near post

Barton was the best player on the pitch

Brighton fans in as much shock as I was amongst them and they knew the scoreline didn't reflect the game

On the bus back it was all about how lucky they were to contain us
I said you were the home team but agreed that Lua Lua made some difference

Ground is fantastic to be fair and good excellent

Bitterly disappointed with the game and result as it looked like we wanted just a draw We were super slick moving the ball around however but toothless as usual

There are some very good comments on this thread that are spot on Dave. For my tuppence ha'penny's worth it is this.........When I used to play poker, if you got dealt an Ace and a King, we used to nickname it a Kournikova, after the pretty blonde Russian tennis player. It looked good, but would never win you anything. A Kournikova could also be a term used to describe Assou-Ekotto. We were cruising but lacking the goal that we have so often craved this season, when BAE decided to let a Brighton player breeze past him to cross for their first goal. Up until then they offered nothing going forward. Gillard, Dawes or Brevitt wouldn't have allowed it to happen. ****ing Benoshit Isso a ****o has allowed it about four times this season. He should never be allowed to wear the shirt again.

Hate to say it but purely based on current form and comments from members here, looks like we'll being playing Brighton again next season ............... so we'll have the chance to redeem ourselves next season in the 'Chump'ionship.

Now that really worries me, can we afford another season in the Championship? And if we stay, which players would stay, and which investors would stay. Only good could be if we get a new, young manager who is hungry for success.

Spot on nines, that was the 3rd or 4th time this season, but when will Harry learn from it. He must have sh*t in his eyes if he cant see he's costing us games. And his attitude sucks. At Brum he was the only player who didnt thank the fans at the end, straight off down the tunnel quicker than Shergar. And last night off with injured pride and straight down the tunnel again. He's on cruise control until the season ends Im sure.

And dont get me going on Hoillet, Im still pi**ed off with him after a nights sleep. Useless plank.

AAhh, the mighty Rufus Brevett finally gets a mention after a long while.
I maybe in the minority here, but I used to like him. He always tried even when at times he may not have been great.
Should never have sold him IMO and eneded up in the prem before us.
Whats he up to now-a-days?

I have to say Kean's performance was the worst I have seen from a QPR striker for years. He looked weak, never made any runs, his touch was awful (which surprised me) and actually looked nervous. The guy marking him had him in his pocket from the start. When your physically weaker than your opponent and playing upfront you get yourself between the ball and your marker so at least you get a foul/free kick but he got nothing. No spinning behind a la suarez, no quick bursts, absolutely nothing. What the **** does Harry and his cronies teach them?!!! Im 51 and played a bit and my son said that I could have done a better job now, dont be fooled he also said anybody in the crowd could have!! I dont blame Kean though cuz Harry should have had him off at half time and even before. When he hadnt come off after an hour I was mystified and would have been better with Maiga or indeed Kranjcar coming on and playing without a recognised striker. Saying that we did have more attempts than usual and were unlucky not to be 2 up before they scored. I though Barton was class.

Keene was muscled out no doubt but his snap shot in the second half ...quality and some of his touches first half very good
What exactly are fans expecting
He was poor but FFS worse in the shirt ? Never

Hang on to yourselves lads
Hoilett was good probing and his movement outstanding throughout

He could not get that ball square if you watch the highlights

BAE was fooled a bit but not to the extent you lot say he was very classy IMO
