Points of note: * Our fans v quiet for a crucial derby * Zamora - not interested, no desire, no better than Hulse * Barton - bollocking Adel- team bonding trip my ar*e. (oh, and he's sh*t) * Corners - Warnock was scared of Barton, but surely MH can see Adel should take them * Paddy - liability * Mackie - not good enough, should have been replaced with Smith * SWP - should have scored with his chance in second half * Clint Hill - our best player today - never thought I'd say that after the money we've spent * Ref - should have given Fulham player a second yellow for pulling Barton * Diakite - looks promising if he can learn to tackle * Taiwo - Troure is better * Anouha - shocking * Tony Fernandes - sh**ing himself * Me - very depressed and very worried
I agree with most of what you say. Us fans do need something to cheer and I thought we were better in the second half. For what it's worth, I disagree about Mackie, I like to see him play. I thought Diakite was brainless: he committed our most fouls despite paying only 32 minutes. He was an accident waiting to happen and I told my son that MH should have taken him off after 30 minutes.
Sums it up really, Barton is a ****, I want him out, Id laugh if he got a career ending injury, he has to be dropped along with SWP who just runs until he gets to a player and then goes around in circles until he loses the ball. There is a problem behind the scenes, I think the whole team thinks Barton is a prize prick and we will never be as one until he is gone. It could have been so different if the ref didnt bottle sending off Dembele, Ill never know how he didnt go off. Hughes doesnt look like he knows what hes doing, I said diakite is going to be sent off 10 mins before he went, they were saying it on the radio as well, why didnt Hughes swap him for Derry? It was so obvious.
No need to get depressed or worried. What will be will be.The circumstances leading up to the end of last season and the beginning of this season are why we are where we are. No blame to Fernandes or Hughes or Warnock for that matter. We as a club have been fighting fires since august and it doesnt matter who we bring in, if the foundations of the club arent right youre in trouble. As for Fernandes leaving, imo he will stay. The parachute payments make next year not so much of a big deal and MH will have a massive clear out in the summer. Next season should be alot more settled and we should be watching a team which is playing as one.
* I think most don't see Fulham as rivals, but we were pretty loud until the sending off when, at least I did, people felt just deflated, it knocked my spirits down hugely. * At the start he did some good knock downs but went missing. * I think stick on Barton is unfair, he was better than most. * I think they're both ****e at them. * I couldn't see the goal properly from my seat so i'm not sure, but I agree generally. * He worked hard as always and better than Zamora but still pretty bad. * Agree, he's been in **** form. * Agree. * Agree. * Agree. * I think Taiwo is a very good player, although admittedly not been outstanding with us so fat but i'm sure he'll start to win people over as the season goes on (unless his injury is bad) * Bit harsh I think * Agree * Agree
Well said you are not on the fickle list my friend we believe until it's too late I am seriously disgusted with some of our fans on this board. We are in the premier league and have had severe set backs that would kill most teams I will only concede when the maths says so and will stay to the bitter end and don't give a **** what any man thinks its a massive honour to be QPR
Agree wholeheartedly. The first AKUTRs bought at the Bolton match in August was the best indication of what our season held in store. It simply had a picture of crossed fingers on the cover. Time to stay positive!
Its a shame some of the players dont see that. You think its fickle to have a go at players who have played nearly 30 games and are on over 50k/week and havent had a good game yet? I think we have been overly patient.
I agree with you, I'm always an optimist with QPR no matter how much pain it may bring, sone of the threads on here by the same people just saying how **** we are annoy me.
Couldn't put it better myself. I'm not talking about anyone on here but i'm really begining to hate some of our fans. In some ways the sooner we go down and they f### off and support Chelsea the better.
Bit harsh mate, but i do seem to remember you and me both saying we didnt want JB anywhere near our club, not so politely either...sooner he goes the better and if it takes relegation then so be it... Dont care how good or bad a player he is..as a human being he is scum and i dont want him neaer my / our club...end of...! IMHO
Thoroughly agree Ruislip.MH will have a big clear out in the summer, and hopefully we'll still be in the Premiership. We can only do what we have always done. That is support the team through thick & thin. I've done that since 1945, and will continue to do so.
Me too!!! Watching fans getting at each other in p and q block was embarrassing as were the boos and negative chants. Sadly once I've been to the games I have tickets for already I'll be retiring to the family stand with my lad. If any of those who were booing and singing against the team could post a response for my 7 yr old to understand it would be appreciated!
Well, there were a fair few thousand "fickle" fans at LR yesterday, giving Barton the bird and booing SWP when he was substituted. I don't agree with booing your own players (even Barton!), but are all those fans going to go and support Chelsea?
I think we need to get behind the team, we did it in the Man City and Chelsea games and it worked well enough...
i do think barton is bad for the team,i dont think he should be captain, and come the summer needs to be shipped out
Its got nothing to do with the fans, theyve been more patient than any other team in the league. The team are making me hate our players, Kenny, SWP and Barton disgust me.
