.. what one result can mean. One flukey goal like the mackems against us, can send you from 10th to 12th.

Anyway, between these 7 teams, none of them can really claim much superiority over another team in this bracket, apart from us tonking the mackems in both derbies ofcrouse.

Can't believe that Stoke and Bolton finished 13th and 14th after being in the top 10 for so long.

I know that others may disagree, but a top 10 finish doesn't really seem that great if you look at that table. The only thing it would have gained us is money, but at the end of the day, where would the money go from a top 10 finish if we did achieve it?

get over the mackems mate to me it's been a great season i had nothing but dread and expected a dog fight down the bottom just think who we've had missing throw in chris getting sacked and judas ****ing of with 3 hrs to find a replacement,think of the injuries 13 at last count and think of those coming back next year and 35m+ to spend as well all i'll say is

I wasn't blaming anything, i was just stating how one goal, one result can be massive in such a tight league

 

it wasn't just that one goal it was a number of things what gets me is you were one of the ones that predicted 17th at the start of the season and we finish 12th and you still moan

 

Maybe the fact that we finished in the bottom half shows Ashley we need to spend to get in the top half whereas if we had finished 9th it may of been an excuse not to spend,

clutching at straws much

 

To anyone who's complaining about us 'underacheiving': Look at Bolton. A month ago they were chasing 7th, they finished 14th just 7 points of the relegation zone. And their two top scorers (Elmander and Strurridge) will leave without Bolton getting any money for them.
