After the Leeds game we have no more games until Sept 10, Blackpool away. This, considering our plight is an ideal amount of time to have the Cb's and other aspects of the team sorted. If pompey are serious about paying £££ for Leadbitter please sell he is absolutely horrific. I'm really hoping we sort out what needs to be sorted out quickly. HOPEFULLY we'll get the defenders in for saturday, if not I think we'll have some good ones in on loan at worst. I know its easy to say but try and keep the faith. I always say look at the table after 10 / 12 games and see where we are. Its important to do just that
I say f*ck it, accept at the moment we are crap and use Saturday to celebrate the end of crap players and celebrate the dawn of a new beginning. Win, lose or draw let's just have a party!
Can just please have a public flogging of Leadbitter, I'm now thinking that perhaps Judas wasn't that bad after playing with that useless ****wit for a season and half!
I've never been a Leadbitter fan. For a more defensive midfielder who only passes sideways or backwards, he's a good 10 metres off the pace and offers zero protection for the defence. The kind of player we really could do without.
I think the funniest thing is that Pompey are actually willing to pay decent money to have a central midfield of Norris & Leadbitter. Have they got a scouting network. Dear me, They are terrible individuals who combine to become the worst cm pair in history.
Saturday's disaster has seemingly affected me mentally - I now find myself agreeing with one of Spanish's post and two of Westlake's in the space of 48 hours! Disturbed or seeing the light I wonder?
Definitely take anything for Leadbitter, he won't be missed. I'm going to have to change my name I think even though it fitted in nicely with a Pearl Jam classic.
