[h=1]Man Utd fan Howard Hobson accused of racial abuse[/h]A Manchester United fan has been charged with shouting racist abuse at Stoke City players during a Premier League match.
Howard Hobson, 57, of Weaver Walk, Openshaw, Manchester, was arrested at the game at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
Greater Manchester Police said he was accused of a racially-aggravated public order offence.
He is due to appear at Trafford Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

I am not a racist - and have stated so many times on GC.
Each team has its' idiot / racist fans.
I don't necessarily agree with Sam for taking the moral high ground over one Liverpool fan - but he is entitled to his opinion ( only he knows if he was being sincere )
If we are honest with ourselves, we would admit that there are fans of ' our ' team who do not enhance its' reputation.
