Ok, to lighten the mood, we've all been speculating this week to who Scally & Hessy will sign. Most of the rumours have become reality, with a couple of surprises thrown in. Lee and some goalkeeper also I went on there and voted Birchall because after today you never know, Would have never thought we would have been seeing Whelpdale in a gills shirt next season,
gotta be lee im pretty sure whelpdale and lee have to be together they really do seem inseperable tbh. not sure about birchall in terms of our relationship with dover espically as we've now signed 2 of there other best players. plus havent heard of him being linked with anyone else so not sure if he is rated as highly as you might expect. if we can get him on the cheapish would be worth it but we'd be relying on our 2 main strikers to step up and be the same goalscorers that they are at lower levels. maybe someone more proven would be a better way to splash the cash.
I've gone for no further signings. For now anyway. Let's see how preseason goes. I do feel another striker is needed but I'm happy to wait and see.
Lee - if rumours are to be believed as negotiations still ongoing. Plus a front man - if money available then would like it to be Donaldson, however more likely to be Brandy/Lisbie. Not too worried about another keeper, as we could go down the loan route if things go wrong. UTG
Lee and Birchall i voted for, but would'nt rule out seeing Cody again, its all very quiet as to what he is doing.
