Sorry to repeat myself for those on both forums but just posted this in the other place. No need to stop posting on not606, I'm not, all I see is an alternative, like having 2 homes, one with noisy neighbours and one in the country with the odd passer by. Many members of this forum are posting on both at the same time, this one is my main home but you would expect that. Everyone will make their own choice over the weeks, that's the norm but what is futile, IMO, is having some sort of competition because who would we be fighting, each other and this forum was formed, in part, to stop that. Best way, for me, join both, use both, enjoy both and those who think they are winning some non-exsistant fight can stay in their caravan by the sea, no names but he will have a black and white shirt on. I have spent the past 18 months working, promoting and in the main enjoying not606, the last thing I want to do is cause it any harm. I;m not competing with not606, I cant this is a small forum, if we hit 400 users I will be delighted but like any forum, the users and the active users will be massively different. If I end up, on here, with a handful of mates to chat and have a laugh with then that will do me. I get excited about the member list growing and hope it continues to grow because its some sort of reward for the effort put in. I want to see Disco's competition grow for the same reason, people comment on posts, same thing. I'm sure everyone knew that but I have always let my gob run away with itself so thought I would say it anyway. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Still enjoy a good ramble.
Would you not be having a word with anyone else promoting another forum constantly, IF you were still a mod? Just asking.
Don't see the need TBH, I think everyone knows about it so why promote it. If people want to join they will find out, we tried to stop ja and the Toon forum from being promoted but in the end the more we tried the more people found out about it.
