I'm not talking about the ability of your opponents, but the meaning of the rivalries.
Would you rather beat Cardiff in a final or Everton?

Everton of course, I would have preferred to play City in the final and Cardiff in the semi. But you can only play whoever you are drawn and in that order. Had the draw been lucky/unlucky enough...Spurs could have had a hard run to the FA Cup final only to meet Stevenage who had a considerably easier run. Had they held you to a 1-1 draw over 90 mins there, a lot more would be said about it as opposed to your recent meeting with them. Funnily enough my dream final would be to meet Everton at Wembley, but first we have to beat Stoke.

That's my point though, MNS.
We beat two good teams, which was important, but not as important as who those teams were.
We beat City in the quarters at the Etihad, where they'd maintained a 100% record that season til that point, but it's largely forgotten, despite the fact that we went down to 10 men after 20 minutes.
