Hi all great night last night; loved the banter between the Northam/Kingsland. Very funny!

I have now got fed up with staring at the full L1 table and decided to have a pop at the bbc predictor for the 1st time this season.

I pride myself on being honest - there's no point giving yourself false optimism, hey? This is how my table finished:

1Brighton 101
2Saints 88
3Hudds 84
4Petes 83
5MK Dons 81
6Bournemth 76
7Rochdale 76

The interesting point to come out of my predictor is that our final 2 games will be played against relegated teams i.e nothing to play for. Unfortunately for me, that means another 4 or so weeks of worry about promotion.

Anyway, just thought I would share that with you.

To be honest, I don't think that is too unrealistic. I think we'll drop points, but i also think Huddersfield and Boro will too. I'd like to think we'll have second spot, but it will be close.

I've just done the predictor too, I got:

1. Brighton 105
2. Saints 88
3. P'boro 88
4. Hudds 82
5. MK Dons 81
6. Orient 77
7. Bournemouth 76

I still think Posh are the main threat, the only game i think we might lose between now and the end of the season is Brighton Away.

If we end up with the same points as Posh, it means we've lost our 2 games in hand and managed to lose our 1 point advantage. Can't see that happening. We only have to match Huddersfield and then get 2 draws in the games in hand and we're 2nd. I think there may be times we lose a game and drop a league place, but I'm sure in the end we'll make it.
 
Yes, I admit, I was a bit shocked to see us on the same points as them. I put us to lose to Brighton, draw to Orient and Rochdale, and win the rest (I think). But I put Posh to win most of their remaining games, that's why it said they had caught up.
 
I believe we are going to beat Orient finishing a great week for us. I'm sticking my neck out and think we are going to get promoted before the Plymouth game. I know that relies on others dropping points but someone is going to lose points this weekend.

When I did it, I was being realistic. This is Southampton, they never do it the easy way. 2nd place is not definitely ours just yet
 
Hmmmmm well based on the last 12 games my prediction based on averages is Saints on 89 points. I can't do the others because I do not know their last 12 results....for what it is worth.
 
I see we have a Man city fan touring our boards Welcome Paulpowersleftfoot.....enjoy the Saints board.
 
Had a swift drink..did a prediction on a scrap of paper with a pencil. As a totally unbiased person we should win the Championship by the middle of next week. A couple more tots of collapso and we may win the Premiership by May!

Yeah, good on you mate, I may have been a bit biased :D I just can't see how I got P'boro on so many points... Daggers stayed up on mine too, I think Notts went down in the end.
 
My top 3 were Brighton, Saints then Huddersfield, in that order.

I had us on 87 and Huddersfield on 86.

It included 4 draws for us against Brighton, Leyton Orient, Rochdale and Brentford. It also had Huddersfield losing to MKDons and drawing with Brighton, but winning the rest, including the one against P'boro.

It'll be close, but my prediction will, of course, be changed if we don't draw and instead lose or win on Saturday.
