I'm just off the phone to Credit Expert and before I even started they told me I get paid my salary in full every month so I have nothing to worry about. They did mention that if for some reason I didnt get paid for 8 days work I wouldnt be able to apply for a nectar card.
It's the start down a slippery slope when you cant get a nectar card Frank. Next you'll be living in a bin and eating paper.
Doing regular credit searches without actually getting credit harms your credit rating!! Credit Rating Agencies take that as an indication that a company has checked your credit are not happy with it & refused you credit.

mine must be alright, got a mortgage after all. never had a credit card or anything like that though.
