I'm just off the phone to Credit Expert and before I even started they told me I get paid my salary in full every month so I have nothing to worry about. They did mention that if for some reason I didnt get paid for 8 days work I wouldnt be able to apply for a nectar card.

It's the start down a slippery slope when you cant get a nectar card Frank.
Next you'll be living in a bin and eating paper.

Doing regular credit searches without actually getting credit harms your credit rating!!

Credit Rating Agencies take that as an indication that a company has checked your credit are not happy with it & refused you credit.

I've never done a credit search in my life. As if I need someone else to tell me what bills I've paid <laugh>

My credit rating is absolutely ****ed, I took out every card they would give me then split the country and maxed them all out.

Checked it the other week to see what it said as it was like

    MBNA: Default
    Halifax: Default
    Capital One: Default
    BOS: Default
