And they are suicidal! Makes our board seem quite cheerful really. Not even a gimme against QPR seems capable of cheering them up.

All I can say is there have been a lot of poor teams and desperate fans in the Prem this season.

A really not surprised they were abject with the worst goalkeeper I have seen since Gary Sprake. On Match of the day Phil Neville pointed out that the centre backs should have been busting a gut to get back into the penalty area to defend for one of the goals - they never even entered the picture leaving two Liverpool players on the goalkeeper! They played like the team on holiday perhaps more than Swansea (mentioned elsewhere). They have tough fixtures and if you told me they would get no more points I would instantly believe you!

Unfortunately they have QPR, which is a gimme. Otherwise I would say they seriously are in trouble.

One thing you can say is they've got 2 away games and then Arsenal at home and arsenals form has picked up. Even though it's QPR away i'd rather have home games.

QPR could go either two ways, completely give up and lose the last 4, or now the pressure is off and they are relegated, play for their places next season.
on paper it looks the easiest fixture left for them

If I was the QPR manager, I'd play the 11 lowest paid players, I'm sure they'd be more willing than the over-paid and over-rated wasters like Bosingwa.

Yes, we are suicidal. <wah> Now if you could do us all a favour and beat Villa at home... <ok> :)

Hi Obi and welcome to our humble abode!

Are you wearing your red and white stripes tonight?

Really can't see us or the Toon going down, but I guess if you lose 6-0 at home or don't get a shot on target against Stoke you are negative for the remaining week!

We will try, I doubt our first team could beat our youth team though!

It would be an absolute pleasure, don't worry. That game could secure our survival and possibly everyone around us's too.

Evening Dave. No red and white stripes. Although my undies have a brown one.

Ok, so maybe I'll be quietly cheering 'them' on - just for one night. <ok>

Just a quick point on the negativity on this board. I think majority of it is fairly well backed up and the negativity isn't desperate. Majority I have seen is what we should do in the summer on the managerial front. I still think we have a lot to shout about with a certain striker coming in the summer and obviously the Youth lads etc. It's just the style of play and tactics which is a concern atm.

Not sure where the result from Villa has come from today. I think it'll we Wigan down now, they will pretty much have to win their next game.

That was a bad result for us and a great result. I can't decide.

    > Mackems conceding 6 and Sessegnon likely to be out for the final games (depending on any appeals).
    > Villa gaining three vital points and cutting the goal difference

    Meditate on this I will.
