It was a very poor game, Bham are kidding themselves if they now think they're a good team. But they were better than us.

First 15 mins was moribund. Somehow we scored.
We never looked like scoring again and it was only a question of time for them to get the 2 goals they needed.

In particular for us
No link between midfield and forward
Defence of set pieces atrocious
Can't cross the ball FFS!!
Wingers on the wrong wings -Philips in particular, had to twist inside so many times to get onto his correct foot.....by the time he did it the momentum was lost.

I'm afraid I couldn't take a single positive for the entire experience. I knew we'd lose, I didn't change my view when we took the lead since we never looked like keeping a clean sheet.

Happy days :(

Haven't seen any of this game. Not a single positive according to the OP, yet we had 56% possession and shaded the shots stats according to the BBC. A loss is a loss, but a loss away to the Club now in 2nd with these stats, and due to a dodgy pen., don't sound as dire as the reactions on this soap opera Board!

Their goalkeeper looked incredibly shaky whenever he had the ball but wasn't tested at all from memory. Our goal was a massive deflection which he could do nothing about and the rest of Phillips' performance suggests it wouldn't have got close to being a goal on its own.

Birmingham are doing well but just look at their team. It's a collective unit of players who mostly would get nowhere near our team on paper but they had just about all the good chances in the game and dealt with our supposed superstars (Phillips, Chery, Fer) as if they were at home to Barnet. Only JET really looked anything close to a threat.

The penalty was harsh to say the least but we deserved nothing. Their first goal was both dreadful and also a complete déjà vu from the goal conceded at Hull. Paul Robinson scored ffs- he must be 40.

So are you saying Phillips played on the left and Chery on the right - which we all know never works
Phillps is never any good on the left. Chery can be OK on the left
Swap this , replace Henry and Perch and we will be fine at home on Tuesday - I love this league !!
From the TV highlights it now looks like Rob Green has started to dive under himself making a wingspan of 2 feet

They switched at various points. Phillips' goal was when he was on the right. The winning goal was when he was on the left. When the ball went into the box we had four players on or near the halfway line.

well not just back but killing some time in Birmingham.

Awful for the whole 90 minutes. Absolutely nothing good to say about today. I've defended Ramsey but the selection was awful and subs were genuinely the most bizarre I've seen in all my time watching QPR.

Green- 5- flappy
Perch- 2- a generous two for this ****
Onuoha- 6- didn't do much wrong or right
Hall- 7- best player. Why was he ever dropped.
Konchesky- 4- raped all game by the wingers along with Perch
Henry- 2. Embarrassment of a footballer. His continued selection is unjustifiable
Sandro- 6- ok
Phillips- 3- a lucky goal and otherwise did his best to do **** all. Notice how far away he was from the ball for their second goal from his side.
Chery-5- meh
Fer- 5- meh
JET- 6- good effort, poor service. Resorting to long throws was embarrassing

Polter- 1- not a footballer
Toszer- 4- slower than Bob Malcolm
Luongo- 6- tries, bless him

Ramsey-0- could not have managed that match worse today.

People will know how much it takes to rile me with Rangers and I'm not overreacting when I say this was as bad as the 5-0 losses at Forest and Southend. Absolute shambles. The fans today deserved so much more.

Time for a beer.
I've found you a positive! Perch will be forced to miss one match due to getting another yellow card!

At one point it looked like he had a serious injury which would at least have forced Ramsey's hand. No way would Furlong or Harriman be worse. The team is crying out for some pace from full-back (amongst other things).

Before the season started I was really excited to see Kpekawa pacing down the line. We haven't seen a dicky bird so far! With that said, Konchesky has put in some decent shifts, unlike Perch who has played well about once.

Well I was there at St Andrews but didn't think it was as bad as wats has made out. Thought the players gave their all. They were happy to get the ball in corner if they could during the last 5 mins or so as we were building the pressure to make it 2-2. The players came over to applaud at the end, and there is always some bellend shouting abuse at the players and yesterday was no exception. Supporters support, not the opposite. What a dickhead he was! All in all a very enjoyable day, but a win would have been the cherry on the cake. Never mind.

I thought, given their individual ability, it was pretty appalling. We never looked close to equalising despite their keeper looking dodgy.

Our fans have taken a lot of **** over the years and I don't blame anyone for kicking off at the team yesterday. A few of the players gormlessly applauding us for ten seconds doesn't make up for playing so below par against a bang average team.

Still an enjoyable day though mate, well my lad and I enjoyed it. (he lives in Brum). Never been to Andrew's before, thought it was a lot smaller than I had imagined it to be. Lovely stadium. Paid a few visits to their club shop to get a few "interesting items", and met up with a brum supporting friend afterwards. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Oh yeah no doubt. I studied there for 3 years and stayed up last night. Love the city. Had a look round the centre again and the uni this morning for nostalgia and had a lovely weekend. Just found the two hours from 3-5pm unacceptable

Soon to turn 37 actually - the 13th goal of his illustrious career. I'm sure Clint Hill would have given him a run for his money yesterday in defending that goal.

Hails from your neck of the woods:-

Robinson was born in Watford, Hertfordshire,[2] and attended St. Michael's Catholic High School in Garston.[3]

If he clashed heads with Hill there would just be dust everywhere.
