Gotta say that away support was something special today from the 4000 or so city fans, the atmosphere was electric and the singing was fantastic. You could tell from the Coventry fans reactions, when both stands to the left and right of us looked towards the away fans. I thought we deserved the victory,we were the better team by a long shot. Coventry had a 15 minute spell second half, when they scored, then we took control again. Special praise for the Mark Saunders tribute at 54 minutes. Full respect to the Coventry fans who clapped as well, well done to them. Well done to Aden Flint,Luke Freeman, and Jet for the killer pass for waggy to smack home the third.
Had a family function, but sounded like a cracking day Fairly poor attendance though considering we had more than 30% of the total
I thought that as well, after their refusing to go last season to Northampton have they not been told they are back in the Ricoh? If a team was bringing nearly 4000 you would thought people would of turned up just to make sure they were a small proportion against them. I bet the other 7000 looked terrible in that big stadium.
it was the best since the reading game we won 2-0, to take away their unbeaten record with GJ bouncing on edge of penalty area at final whistle!
Just seen the goals from yesterday - Wagstaff's goal was a brilliant finish, outstanding. Always said he was a goal threat (if anything) and pleased to see him used again in injury time.
For those who were not there in person but who were in spirit. Another away win makes it a special day for all City supporters. I am just so proud when we are performing like we are to be just a small cog in the world of Bristol City Football Club. Yes I will be City til I die but please not for a few years yet. I want to share some more good times again.
