It seems that since a knee injury he has not been the same player.......but still loved on the QPR's not606 pages and they have some good memories of him.

He will be looking no lower than the Championship for a new club........anyrate we couldn't afford his goulash rations these days.

I did say "Just as a matter of interest..." but you can't help thinking can you?

After hardly playing at all under Warnock, I saw him play a couple of times for QPR under Hughes and he looked pretty good to be honest, even in the PL. I did read that several Championship clubs were interested and he's certainly fit to play at that level. Blackpool perhaps......?

One thing for sure, he definately ain't coming anywhere near here. In fact, nobody of that class is coming anywhere near here not just him. Maybe in a couple of seasons time.............who knows. I'm going to put my head on the chopping block now and say that our new young forward from the lower reaches is going to turn out to be gold. Don't know why I think that but it is just a gut feeling. He won't stay and we will make good money out of his transfer after next season. Gulp...

You may be proven wrong Sensible but it's good to see some optimism. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you're right.

To be honest notdistant there has been enough doom and gloom about for far too long and it is about time to get back into the optimism mode. I'm not going to go as far as saying we are on for promotion or anything daft like that. I am going to be confident that we will not struggle at worst and maybe just maybe we will be in with a shout at the end of the season. Even that would be a welcome relief after the last 3 years. People who say we should be going for promotion are absolutely right of course. Nobody should be hoping for less but to expect promotion as a minimum is a step too far in any league and for any team. I'm setting my sights a little lower than that but wth crossed fingers.
