Is it just me, or was Adel a little too keen to get Van Persie's shirt on? Can't comment on the game, I only woke up for the last 15 minutes. But WHAT A RESULT!!!!!!!!! (sorry for the nit pick!)
Adel was very keen to impress in this game, playing to get a move, let's hope he carries on trying in the rest of our games.
He earned the right to swap shirts with one of the best players in the world. I would want VP's shirt if I had just scored a crucial goal (my first prem goal) against his team and gone on to win. Don't read too much into it, enjoy the win!
He was also having a good old chinwag with VP before second half kick off. I recon he was saying something like "do you recon you can get me into the team?"

Adel knows quite a few of the Arsenal players and was having a long, apparently jokey conversation with Van Persie on the halfway line waiting for the second half to start. I think the shirt thing at the end was part scalp, part Adel saying "Look Mum, I've arrived!". And who knows. May be he has. Great to see him in this form again.
Cheer up mate, we just beat Arsenal and adel was superb....dont take it all so seriously! All i have ever said is i dont think he's good enough to be a prem player. That was based on the fact that he has the ability (as we all know)but so do a lot of kids at the local park. It was whether he could and would deliver week in-week out. He's still not done that, BUT, has again shown what he can do! F-me..we just beat Arsenal !!
