Why did we sell peltier? I was so tempted to write somethin even when he was with the club to stay. He was good in attack and made for a fantastic sub? Sol bamba, seriously! How could we sell him? He showed what he is about against man city and never looked back. He won many tackles and would also be a fantastic sub. Finally Matt mills. I know the heinzeit deal but surely he was worth giving another try with. I was saddened when he left. He showed glimpses of talent when he intercepted balls and made both good and poor tackles. Surely still worth a gamble as oppose to liam moore. I think pearson must buy a few more players if unless the transfer window is closed already. Judging by the money we have recieved from ex players we arent being too ambitious with 3 million pounds or else pearson could lose his position at city.
Oh ffs. We sold Peltier because he was ****. We sold Mills because he was ****. We sold Bamba because he didn't fit into Nigel's ethos.
Matt Mills simply had to go, something very serious happened behind the scenes, we will never know what but he had to go. Peltier was told he would be 2nd choice and didnt want that. He asked to leave. And fair to him if he is being offered captaincy and 1st choice at a bug club like Leeds. Bamba i feel asked to go as well. I think they were inevitable.
You really are a prize p*****k. Do you ever actually ever go to a game? Peltier was about our most consistent player last year, not outstanding or poor, just nice & steady every week. We could do with 5/6 players who perform steadily every match. Mills was the best defender we had on our books, don't know what went on with him but no way is he ****. Bamba had a better offer to leave, but agree he isn't a Pearson type player. We sold Peltier because he was ****. We sold Mills because he was ****. We sold Bamba because he didn't fit into Nigel's ethos.[/QUOTE]
We've kept Gallagher - he's **** Waghorn - he's **** Dyer - he's **** So we obviously had a lot of ****s
Pelts was pretty crap. We conceded alot of goals down the right. With Liam Moore's emergence and De Laet signing Peltier was surplus to requirements
Yea but it does look like you have **** all backup for CB as well and he's also quite good in that position
He never played centre half for us so cant comment too much but i think he lacks the concentration to play centre half
you obviously have never seen Alex Bruce play, the guy is terrible I wasn't expecting much of Peltier because of the way he was being rated on your guy's board but unless he is just on very good form and about to slump he has impressed me very much with his composure, concentration and consistency in both CB and RB
What? Seriously, Alex Bruce is absolute garbage. You clearly haven't seen him play. Even from the few games he's played for us, Peltier is miles ahead of Alex Bruce. Why Hull would want him in their defence is beyond me when they already have one of the best defences in the league.
Alex Bruce was crap for us. Worse then Pelts, Pelts is an average championship player, Bruce is a poor one
I like the way you write it as if its factual just because thats what he has done in one season before now
... probably not a good subject area to stray into .. you know how competitive our lot get ... and if the Tigggggers get hold of this (excuse the unintentional pun) ... LOL
.. my view is slightly different ... Peltier - thought he was a promising talent but defensively naiive - but with some good coaching from a boss who was himself a defender? Mills - had to go - irrespective of whether any or which rumours had any truth - he was obviously disruptive ... and ginger - also wouldn't be surprised if Pelts was one of his closer buddies Bamba - strangest one of all - can only assume he asked to go - or again was one of the Mills 'cligue' .... look for a common factor - all Sven signings ..... is NP doing a 'Peter Taylor' ... i.e Taylor seemed driven to discard as many MON players as he could in the shortest possible time .. unfortunately to the club's detriment. Any way you look at it, NP has now, potentially, made a rod for his own back .... we will not be the only ones having this discussion methinks ...
Haha yes Alex Bruce is dreadful guys, thats the point! When he played there he was clearly out of position and awful!
