Now I know we had a great pre-season last year and then it all went wrong.
And I am 100% behind MM who impressed at the end of last season and
has brought some dignity and order back to Rovers.
And I realize that Carayol was going to go sometime and Stanley and Zebroski
    are no great losses.
    But.................................
*Woodards won't be around at the beginning of the season
*Just who is our no1 'keeper at the moment?
*Where are the goals going to come from for a promotion push?
*Does Gill have a future with us as a captain and pivotol CM?
*Are we really going to see an influential Wayne Brown?
*Smith has shone in MF, but will he be put in at RB
*Which of our lumps of CB's will settle into a pairing?
MM has acknowledged that we need about 4 new signings.
I think that if we don't get out of L2 under MM we never will!
Sorry for the negativity...put it down to the weather;but too much
is resting on our trust in MM!

    key mistakes mcghee has made:

1, taking too long waiting on leicester for parkes and bolger. virgo was out majority of last season as still not fit. mcghee should of seen this and should of re-acted to the lack of movement regarding parkes and bolger much sooner. now kenneth and baldvinsson has come in late and kenneth is not fit and baldvinsson will need to adjust to life in england. cb position is very important and the 3 main ones we have are no where near ready and ipswich in the cup is in 7 days time! the partnership in that position is key. dont concede means we dont lose.

2, messing about with carayols transfer. should have told all interested parties that there is a deadline for acceptable offers for carayol and stuck to it. we shouldnt care about not getting in the way of carayol having the chance to step up to the championship. rovers should come 1st not the player. we need to be ready for the start of the season and messing about with this transfer has stopped mcghee getting players in the door as he has obviously been waiting to see what funds he has to use. with a deadline, mcghee is in control of the situation. once deadline is up if carayol is still with us, then we have a good player who could play a major role getting us up. he can go next summer once were in league 1. if he left before the deadline then mcghee has plenty of time and funds to get who he wants leaving time to get them to gel and fit.

3, pissing about with constable. there must be better players out there who will be cheaper as well than this guy. 3 offers for this guy is a joke. we should have had a striker in the door who has pace to burn to go along side harrold with clarkson just behind. instead due to fart assing about with the sale of carayol, mcghee been waiting for the funds from carayol to make yet another offer for constable. just stupid.

4, keeper? mcghee knows bevan is injured and wont be returning anytime soon. this leaves gough who is young and inexperienced and a youth keeper who is younger than gough and no experience. we should of got a keeper in ages ago either signed up and let gough go out on loan or get a experienced keeper in on a 3 month loan. someone who can help settle the defencive issue we have as mentioned in point 1. gough i think is too inexperienced to do this.

sorry to say but being realistic here, i think it will be at least 6-8 games into the season before we see rovers match fit and ready. what damage will be done though in this period. if we can be mid table within 8 points away from 7th then i will be fine as i can only see us getting stronger, providing we get the right striker in (not constable).

im really excited though about seeing broghammer, hunter and a fit wayne brown get a chance.
