    I have been assured that it wasn't a dream and we really did win at the SOS 1-0.

    <ok>

    I've never seen a Mackem in Milan...

    It's only Saturday and the game hasn't been played yet, it must have been a dream.

    A derby will be the death of me. Does anyone else get so nervous that they can hardly sleep the night before, dread it all week and can't eat before or during the game? I was having dreams about the bloody score all night on Friday, it was awful.

    Great win for us though. I don't think we were anything special, but to be able to have a completely average match and walk away with the three points is something I'm glad we can do. I hope Tiote gets back to his normal self too, gave the ball away countless times and just didn't look as comfortable as he normally does.

    Every derby game is special to me. I thought the guys understood how special it was to all of us and they did us proud. They played for the shirt and gave it their all. A great game, a great result and a great day.

    Things got a bit hairy at times, too often for my liking. Luckily Sunderland's strikers were woeful. I think our team always understands that you need to play the game and not the occasion, whereas Bruce's team talk seems to consist of "<wah> Please lads, beat the bastards this time! <wah>"
