    I've been following this site since 606 closed and finally decided to join up, just thought I'd post a quick thread to introduce myself.

    I'm Alex and I've supported Newcastle since I was around 8, my dad and his side of the family are from the North East, but we live in Gloucestershire/Bristol aka "farmer" country. I couldn't think of a funny player related user name, so that'll have to come later.

    Pretty happy with the buys in this transfer window so far although we definitely need a couple more strikers. Sad to see Nobby go but hopefully it will turn out for the best.

    Looking forward to joining in the fun here on the NUFC board :cheesy:

    Erm, have fun. Don't feed the WUMs! Having a massive sense of humour definitely helps! With seriousness in between, of course!

    Please don't judge what we're normally like by the close season. It's been pretty hectic really.

    I've enjoyed the hecticness actually. Seems that this is one of the most active boards, which is good because I have a fair bit of time to waste having just finished Uni.

    Will check out the thread dictionary as well.
