I've been on the train home today, is all this panic because of the BBC article saying that NP has asked to speak to Leicester with the other reports then following from that or is Burnsy doing taking the old HDM/Fieldhouse approach of copying what everyone else has been saying for days and making out it's breaking news? Just seems strange that in the 2nd week of November we're going overboard about a story that says "BBC Radio Humberside understands" and says that neither club has commented on the situation. (for the benefit of Leicester fans, I'm asking because if the BBC/Radio Humberside story was the first source that the others have reacted to it's all a bit premature, this time last year they "understood" with no official statements that the takeover talks had broken down and we were going into admin, a couple of hours later the takeover agreement was confirmed)
I've been thinking this myself, but if the story was false the club must have come out and shot down the rumours by now.
Probably is true But since it's the international break if there wasn't I might be tempted to give everyone a few days off (keeping them in the loop), let Blunderside run their "our sources say" pieces before having NP turn up on Thursday with two new loan signings and the club saying there was never anything in it and it shows how much **** they're prepared to make up to undermine the club, then cite the whole takeover fiasco from last year and say from now on RH can go **** themselves because they're going to get nothing out of the club. When it comes to the compulsory interviews after games just "no comment" every question. Before a Leicester fan starts, I'm not clutching at straws, I've been on the train most of the day so I'm just trying to get some timings on things.
In fairness to Blunderside, they never actually put anything up until mid-afternoon. There was some comments, but most seem to stem from the Leicester Mercury, which appears to have been closest to most of the goings on...
