I thought it was funny too Sensible ..... Haven't watched the new Poldark cos I loved the old one and was afraid I'd keep comparing the two ... did like this version the best though
That is one problem with remakes of anything. Like you I remember the original and considering how long ago it was made it was pretty good. This one is ok because I have watched a couple of episodes but trouble is I sort of know the story so kind of know what's coming next.
