was yesterdays result just a blip or was it something deeper. Lets face it we have come back from a big dip in form to pick up 4 wins on the bounce, but the performances have been dire. Tommy seems to be able to get through to his players and lift them because the team spirit is pretty good, but why cant we get the same level of perrmance we had at the start of the season linked to the results. We are behindp on points where we were same time last season but are 6 points closer to the top 2. As Eire keeps saying this league is full of average teams with only 1 stand out team therefore the top 6 is wide open, but we need to be able to get over the line which we are not doing, and getting beaten by the bottom of the league shows where we really are. Show me the results when we beat teams above us? We have to beat teams above and around us to go up. I think Tommy has a problem with some players, I think he has favourites who let him down. i think his benches have been a joke and yesterdays team was no exception with Nessy highlighting the problem Tommy has with Klich. Some on here said Roofe would get nothing against the Brum defenceyet he persisted with Lassoga still bench warming. Has Ayling or Berardi deserved to keep their places? Our performances earlier in the season showed players like Anita were integral to every 1 of them but ignored like Klich CBJ Pennington, Sacko, Cibicki until recently. We either have players who are not good enough or have an attitude or we have a manager who has favourites.
Klick,Sacko etc are av squad players at best,we need better if we are going to go for top 6.Birmingham are a better team than where they are,as I did tell you last week,were always going to raise their game,and we needed our best team from the start,not last 20 mins to get a result.
That means you think Tommy knows what hes doing even though some of his first choice players like Alioski, Pablo, Ayling, Beradi, Roofe, Pontus all performed well? Sorry mate they were all crap yesterday. Nessy is a CH but was preffered over Klich a proper DM. Yes you may be right about Klich but you cant say that as you aint seen him play except a cup game. You aint seen Anita for weeks yet he didnt really have a bad game for us at the back or as a DM but Nessy gets the nod over him too. Something doesnt fit, something is wrong when performances are so bad or so average every week.
Well lets see I can't say because I've only seen Klich play very average a few times and the same with Nessy,but Nessy has played a few good game,where as Klicks not had any very good games,the manager who sees them train every day seems to think Nessy is better and not seen anything to say he's wrong.
Like I said Chesh something is wrong and your explanation could be correct. Anita was a regular last year in a promotion winning side. Where he starts on a regular basis we play well with some great performances and results. He gets replaced by Berardi and we never see him again even when Berardi has a bad game? Pennington is better than Cooper but he gets the nod every game? Why did we sign Sacko when he cant even get on the bench? Ayling has no pressure and plays every game even when he plays badly because his natural replacement is on the other side of the pitch out of position. CBJ another which needs explaining as he started very well then dumped never seen again. One start for scum first team, former academy player of the year now with a career in ruins because he came to Leeds. Is he really crap?
Birmingham are a top six team, but they have been wage thieves this season ... something went wrong when they sacked Rowett, and they seemed to lose their fight ... yesterday they showed their true ability because they decided to show up and save Cotterill's job ... if Brum play with this attitude EVERY game they can make a run at top six for sure, but it remains to be seen if they have the will to play to their ability ... Brum's passing and movement were excellent, and they would have beaten any team with that performance, proving once again that footballers are massively overpaid Klich is a quality player, and Tommy needs to start selecting him ahead of Phillips who is genuinely just too slow to become a great player, just like the lad we sold to Barnsley Berardi unfortunately can't pass, and if you look at the amount of times he's wide open on the left but players refuse to pass to him and it becomes obvious he's not trusted to keep possession Ayling is totally gone, and for the Brum goal he impersonated a statue, allowing the scorer a free run at the rebound ... he simply didn't react, and is well below par for sure Tommy has a job on his hands for sure, because as has been said before, teams lift their game when it's Leeds and we need to be at 110% every game or it's trouble ... yes, performances haven't looked sublime at face value, but the players have been made to work hard by the opposition every time and results have been earned through commitment and desire ... teams have very seldom allowed Leeds to play, everyone suddenly a yard quicker, that bit stronger, leaping higher ... the Leeds effect brought the best out of Brum, and will do the same for all our opponents to come Radz is God
Were were awful in last two games also. Stole a win against Hull after a goalkeeping clanged, played for about twenty minutes agains Burton but got away with it. Table doesn’t lie. Our last three opponents are in relegation dogfights and are hopeless. No positives from those three games except the minimum six points expected
Nothing wrong with Anita,but not great at defending,if we had a better keeper he would be fine,but we don't we have a **** keeper who is only any good at distribution of the ball,CBJ seems to have an attitude problem,spent the season dropped at Wolves last season,sometimes money and fame just goes to kids heads and they never reach there potential.
Reality check Eire,very little between 23 teams in this league,and SAIZ is the only thing that makes us top 6 hopefulls,we haven't been crap,we have been what we are,average without SAIZ.
Think it would be a great idea if we selected our best 11 players, that means each of us to see if we agree with Tommy Felix Berardi Pontus, Pennington CBJ Viera Klich Saiz Pablo Alioski Lassoga
Still don't get this support for Klich, though I accept you could be right, as has anyone ever actually seen him play a full game even at his previous club or is this belief based on youtube highlights and the fact players seem to get better when they're not playing? Some players might not be suited to the english game and he could simply fall into this category. Difference for me is we have been missing our most creative midfield player in Saiz and our best DM midfielder in Vieira.
LOL my view on Klich is because of facts: firstly he was chased as our main target of last Summer, it took over a month to get the deal done because Klich was chased by top clubs. 2) 5 top German clubs are chasing him still, 4 top Dutch clubs still want him. 3) Hes a full International and even now the Polish manager is kicking off with Leeds as they wont be able to select him for the WC so he will have to leave. It just seems such a waste of talent as Klich is seen back home in Poland as a god.
With the exception of him being an internationalthey’re not facts doc. They’re media speculation and like any signing agents trump up ‘interest’ in their player. If top European clubs wanted him, were prepared to pay money for him and to him in the summer he’d have gone to them not to the English second tier. Either he’s not very good, or he’s not suited to the physicality of the championship or our style of play. Casper sloth was a danish international, and he looked out of his depth in the u23’s at Leeds. ( sorry Matt! Get well soon by the way)

One things for sure January will tell us if we have the right manager the right upstairs team. I can see Klich going out on loan to Germany or Holland I can also see CBJ going home. We know we have around £20m to spend but will it be saved for the Summer if it is saved it will be because Tommy says hes ok and a couple of kids get promoted from the kids. Clarke is highly thought of and so too is the kid from Barcelona. That could cost bim his job
While I agree he was our big target,but when you look up his history not quite the player you think.signed by Wolfsburg for 1.5 million euro's 6 years ago,after 1.5 seasons of not playing regular was sold for 200,000 euro's.Ow and this was the German 4th division he struggled with.did ok in Holland and then went back to Germany struggled again then went back Holland where he played close to a full season and his team finished 7th in a league around Championship standard.Played 10 games in 6 years for Poland which isn't many over 6 years and mostly in friendlies.And for a god in Poland isn't and wasn't in the squad this season or last in world cup qualifiers. think you've been had with your info m8.Was it his agent who told you by any chance
