This could be a great platform for Carroll to build on. I hope he goes to the Euro's. He could carry that momentum greatly.
He caused Chelsea's defence a big problem and the fact that it took a whole hour for us to start taking the game to Chelsea speaks volumes on why we didnt win that match and the Cup. Chelsea's midfield was far superior to ours and I think thats where we lost the game as well as making silly mistakes.
