Got to say I wouldn't mind Spuds, Arsenal or West Ham away. Would love to rub in our European trophy win in front of one of our rivals. I can't see it though. I reckon we'll get Southampton at home. Praying for Everton away though <ok>

Do you get a compulsory guard of honour? It would be quite amusing to see that at White Hart Lane. Not so amusing at Loftus Road.

The idea of a guard of honour is very appealing! I hope its not wasted on a team we no issues with though! Either of the Mancs or at White Hart Lane would go down very nicely!

I wouldn't mind starting off at home (as usual) just because we're playing City only days before. Need whoever it is in charge to get off to a good start and keep the media vultures away.

As many northern teams away possible in the first 3 months. The one good thing about having so many Southern teams and less no Blackburn/Bolton is those dreaded cold midweek games up north are reduced.

United and Liverpool away won't be midweek for us. Nor will Newcastle in all probability as Sky will have those fixtures so we want those before CL and FA Cup kick in properly. Ill be delighted if we get City and United away first like Arsenal did

I know you're a bit special but there's no need to hit yourself in the face.

Anyone but the Mancs. A London club at home would be hilarious.

Arsenal at home, the Islington/Woolwich tossers have been trying to lift the CL for so long it would be rather amusing to parade the trophy in front of them!

I'm not sure Drogs if PL champs are allowed this honour! It is fitting . however that CL champs are recognised in this fashion!

Who do we want first ?? That all depends on what team we can put out. Last seasons' team couldn't regularly beat any of the 5 clubs that finished above us.
Forget the CL and the FA . The PL will be just as difficult as last year unless we get off our arse and bring in some new talent. Promising start, but midfield is as piss weak as ever.

Id rather take someone like Swansea at home, get off to a good start in the league, its about winning the first game not making a mockery of the opposite team. Imagine parading and then losing, yeah egg on face.

Swansea will be without their good manager so could be their for the taking
