I know i am getting ahead of myself here after just 3 games played, but has anyone noticed that Brighton and Soton are in top 2 of Champs. After Norwich last year, it just shows what momentum can do for a football team.... lets hopefully continue it on next year.
Let's also hope that Sven doesn't get the push at Leicester, I could see them coming after Chris if they dump Sven in the next few months!
I'd be worried about that too, AllHell. Just got back in to the Brighton result, ye gods - you're right Stu, there's a lot to be said for momentum (also self-belief, lack of fear, financial stability, solid support, excellent managers working in harmony with their boards and a determination to play attractive, thoughtful football).
In all seriousness, Leeds lost Beckford when they went up and still finished near the play offs, and Millwall did well to. I think if this squad went up they would only be a couple of players short of making a fist of the Championship play offs.
I think Millwall fans should be more worried if Sven gets the bullett. After all, Jackett has got Championship experience. It is no coincidence that Norwich, Saints and Brighton (and now us) play good football with a bit of bite when needed. It all fuses together to make a potent mix.
