It has been many a long year that QPR fan's have seen one of their own involved in a high profile (albeit friendly) match against England. Does anyone know if it's ever happened before? So, mixed loyalties or 'England 'Til I Die'?! Given that it's a friendly, I will be cheering Cesar as I want him to stay in top form for the league. Any dilemma's out there??
Sod the England football team, after the debacle at the World Cup I couldn't give a **** about them anymore
I feel like that as well, I want us to win the qualifiers though Need to look forward to us in the next world cup even though we will be ****e again
It's the same old crap with them mate, it just doesn't have the same appeal as it did when I was younger
The reason why we do no good at world cups and euros is because we are ****, at best we are a last 8 team, we don't have a big enough talent pool. We the fans put to much pressure on these players and guess what it all goes tits up, I fell out of love with international football when I discovered these players get ****ing paid to play for England and pull out with the most pathetic injuries, I would have given my right arm to play for my country this lot not so, sounds like a simlar story no?
Well, the RAAF went into battle with the RAF, so hope England win, with Hail Cesar having a great game in a losing team ......... and don't get injured !
Not wishing to spark up another dubious debate, but I'll never understand anyone not caring whether their country wins or not. Whether I think we're crap or brilliant, I'll always want us to win, whether it's tiddly winks or football. Just my own personal view.
IN 99% of things totally with you Col, but no longer for football. Of course I would prefer us to win rather than lose, but nothing like as bothered as I am for the Rs. I've just lost any connection with the players and set up. Heard a brilliant programme on 5 Live whilst driving last night on Bobby Moore, just made the contrast even greater. Sorry.
I'm going tonight, Xmas present from my brother in law. Hoping England win, but won't lose a minutes sleep if we're **** and lose. If cesar does something special, I'll be up on my feet giving it Cesar Cesar Cesar. No one around me will be in any doubt that they are near an R.
I get where you're coming from, but how are you connected any more with the millionaire Rangers players?
Cheers. First time to new wembly, very much looking forward to it. No idea re attendance, to be honest, I completely forgot about it until the day before yesterday.
The England team is filled with ****ers, although the biggest one has gone now. Even the yanks want their USA basketball team to lose because they are so unlikeable.
