Great player, Great memories. I do not think he is going to be manager of a premier club though

I don't know how anyone can make that assumption without having seen him manage anyone at any level - he was still playing last year for the Willow pond wasn't he? - Jose Mourinho was an interpreter and look at him now!!

I'd love it if he got to that level! Very few do mind but I won;t make any assumptions! Come on Julio get in there and get all your badges done

    What assumption <doh>
He simply said that he doesn't think that Julio's going to manage at that level :emoticon-0112-wonde

By definition saying "I do not think" is making an assumption <doh>

If I say "I think Sunderland will stay up this season" am I or am I not making an assumption without proof?

Dictionary definition: "suppose to be the case, without proof" As in "I don't think"

    No . . . . you're expressing a thought :emoticon-0112-wonde
Anyway, I don't want to argue with someone who takes the mickey out of disabled people (calling them offensive names, with no fear of reply, in case you choose not to remember) :emoticon-0101-sadsm

If I take the mickey out of disabled people I do it without prior knowledge of their disability and the mickey taking isn't aimed at the fact that they are disabled - and because I have no idea - read the post back you're talking about - until I mentioned the problems no-one told me about them so how was I to know - If I had known I wouldn't have said it!

Your signature turns you into a total hypocrite as it says "Thick Bastards" - do you know the people you are talking about? Do they perhaps have some sort of learning difficulty? Possibly not but you don't know one way or the other

I even told myself, ages ago, not to reply to any of your posts because of this, and I still did <doh>

I'll not do it again :emoticon-0145-shake

Because you have nothing of substance with any proof to back up your argument? Yeah thought so!

I'd like others opinion on me being discriminatory towards disabled people? You will find that there isn't a shred of evidence to back this up and you are making rubbish up. Sometimes you can be really alright - I obviously struck a nerve with you once for which I apologised at the time iirc as I had no prior knowledge - obviously you're having a hissy fit day and taking it out on me - it's only an internet forum FFS

Edit: @The Relic apologies for this taking over your thread - I will always defend myself when slated with something like this though

I knew his Sunday League exploit was for while he did his coaching badges but didn't realise he'd started working for us. Disappointed the club has kept this so quiet.

He's only working with the youth teams, though, Bri, so it's not high profile . . . . and it's 'release' (by Relic) has been a nice surprise - temporarily taking our minds away from worrying about the first team :emoticon-0100-smile

I think this just happened, my pal told me about it on Tuesday night and I meant to post but I was ****faced.

Delighted to see him involved with the club and I'll be more than delighted if he reaches a level to be involved with the first team again, one of mine, and most of our all time faves.

    Juuulliiioooooo.

He's a legend that's re joined our club in a coaching role. Can't find anything on the website but I want to read about his first steps onto the coaching ladder with us. Cheers Relic for informing us, I didn't mean anything against you, thanks for bring the news.

And speak for yourself Gordon. I'm not worrying. ;)

    I'm not worrying either :emoticon-0145-shake . . . . but that might change, 'cos this is Sunderland A.F.C. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Maybe we should support the tarts instead . . . . who have now won 6 in a row :emoticon-0100-smile

I wonder what that feels like :emoticon-0136-giggl

    Ha! Hopefully we'll see.

You won't see me panic unless we still looking for players at lunch time of Deadline day.

Keeping an eye on the Tarts. They're on fire at the moment, looks like a cracking team. If I had a car the U21s would get most of my attention. Watched all the highlights last season and saw 4 live games and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our kids play entertaining football.

Hey Funky, I'm not offended, upset, or any of that stuff. It's fine. To be honest, i didn't know myself till this morning when I found it totally unexpectedly when I was trawling for today's nicest t*ts - (It's that commachio's fault, y'know <laugh>).
