The reception will be ok. But ultimately he's playing for a rival in a big game, I don't think he'll be cheered like say Drogba or Lampard were as he's not a legend.

Mata has nothing to prove, he's a quality player, it just speaks for van Gaal who was going to get rid of him till he was forced to play him when that Argentinian dive fest got banned.
