I'd love it. Highly unlikely though!

Adding squad players from different leagues may not help us much.....Just look at our failures over the last year to see that we need to buy quality. I fear that'll happen though; a handful of £3-7m signings.

    Thoughts?

Won't happen I don't think....get the feeling Maureen is just dangling a carrot as he does. There would definitely be plenty of suitors if he was available though and as with most fans around the country I'd love to see him play for my team <ok>

i should imagine everyone will be saying yes to that question,

personally i think its if the player wants to come, as despite what is being said i don't think Mourinho fancies him for some reason, they do have other quality players though so wont be too much of a loss for them, but be nice if they sold to us and he wanted a move here.

Why yes, Juan Mata would be a lovely and hilarious addition to our squad.

THe only way I can see Mourinho allowing him to move to us ( if the player even wants to stay in England, move to us, wants to go to spain, who knows) would be if he felt like helping a formal pupil in Rodgers out. Doubt it though.

Gotta say, as pissed as Mata was, those two subs made the difference against Saints!

Jose wants rid of him because hes not a diving clogger and he doesn't track back, shocking. I think he would be a great signing for any team but I think they will try to sell him to someone outside the prem.

Great player Mata. I can't understand why Maureen just isn't having him.

Be interesting to see who comes in for him & how Chelsea react if it's one of their rivals.

He's the type of player ManU are crying out for, someone that sits between the likes of (Not So) Cleverly and Carrick, given a license to roam and feed the likes of Rooney and Van Poor Hamstrings!

What are you talking about? According to Fergie, Thiago who is now at Bayern is no better than Cleverly!!! <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

If he doesn't track back enough for Maureen then I can't see Moyes having him either...

is a funny comment, but, and i am not defending the twat as he is a ****, he may have said that to egg his player on into believing he is better than he actually is and get maybe 10 % more out of him than he would have done, half of football is about mind games and confidence anyway.

Maybe, but let the donkeys do the, err.. Donkey Work? Let him do what he does best, rip teams apart!
The boy's lost confidence due to the way he's been treated, give him an arm round his shoulder, tell him he's one of the main men and he'll come good..

Have you seen United this season though? The midfielders stand there watching the ball go backwards and forwards over their heads half the time <whistle> What they need is a Mandy/Big Drunk style CF <whistle> Besides which would Mata really want to join a mid-table outfit.........:bandit:

    I agree, but I just don't think he's a Moyes type player.

Maybe we'll buy him after we've sold Barkley to the Mancs, which the media have decided is happening this month <doh>

I was watching the soccer special on SS yesterday & that bell end McInally was sat there saying that we'd not be able to resist an offer of £25m for him this month. <doh>

When only 3 hours earlier, Martinez had been asked if the rumours of a £50m bid from United were accurate, to which he replied "we won't be sending anyone out on loan this window" <laugh>
