    Oh stop blubbering on.

Why start a new thread for this? There's already one dealing with this whole saga.

Well said ... and does it stop there? I witnessed first hand dreadful racist comments when Samba scored against us last year from the crowd in Z6 ... they were nearly all scandinavian fans who shouted racist comments .. The stewards did nothing and they were black! ...

    Lets move on with life

Now you're talkin'. The bile that was spilling out from the terraces against Chelsea in that game made JT's comments sound Saintly in comparison.

Couldn't care less about them Soope. Nor would I have a problem with anyone F-ing and blinding their players. It helped build the incredible cauldron that was the Bear Pit aka L R last season. I've SO much respect for you boys that get down there every week. Our Supporters are second to none.

I was just agreeing with Oddball that, in an atmosphere like that with fans giving it loads, its no surprise some of it erupts on the field of play as well. The stuff that was being roared into their players face's every time they got a throw or corner was not for the faint hearted! Just lets not have double standards, that's all I'm saying.

That night was the best for me as a Rangers fan since Oldham in the Semi-Final back in '03.

I like you '79, you're chilled out. Others would have gone mad at my response to your OP!

It sure was mate.................and I wasn't even there! <doh> I was sat at home listening to it on radio. I'll never forget the Commentary: "Carlisle, through the middle to Paul Furlong.... FURLONG!!!" I've never heard a roar like that from a crowd, before or since.

I managed to make 5 games that season, 4 of which we lost and 1 sh*tty draw with Mansfield. Glad I stayed away from the Oldham game! ;)
