It may be obvious to most of the posters on here but according to the BBC website Pennant has only made 4 starts in 21 games. Seeing that stat in black and white I was surprised but it does seem that something is not right despite what both TP and JP have said recently. Pulis insists everything remains in the dressing room. With Ethers missing against Chelsea, surely Pennant ought to have started in order to give us width on at least one flank? .............. sorry, he picked Fuller instead and we all know what happened
Proud Potter That stat is exactly why I called Pulis an idiot.. It's ridiculous and Pennant is payed to do a job for Stoke City. He should be one of the first on the teamsheet with Etherington. But of course the oh so effin mighty Mr P thinks he knows best. I happen to think he's wrong but hey feckin ho.. no doubts Matty AND Pennant will be OK v Liverpool, IF not WHY not. And futhermore IF Pulis is (resting player's) WHY? surly they can play once a week, we're no longer in Europe and League games are no longer a problem.. eg fixture pile up etc. Still hacked off over the weekend selections NOT so much the result.
