when he is not injured hes an excellent player, especially off the bench. I remember the oxford game in april where he was notably their only threat. if we can keep him fit its a good signing, we just need another winger now!

Jury is out for me on this one. First time round he was fantastic in 15 minute spells but whenever he was given a start he was disappointing overall. Still think we lack a forward who can hold up the ball and we have injury prone strikers in Pittman and McClure. Hopefully Gaz can get the best out of him but not sure I can share everyone's excitement in signing a player that is hardly prolific in the football league.

dont panic finchy jp has a lot of pace and that frightens defenders.i remember when he frightened the leeds defenders at elland road. i am glad to have him back after watching the likes of oli and kuffour who are not fit enough to lace his boots.i guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one .

I actually agree with finchy and Rocky on this one - he has to be better then Oli, no doubt there. I would however like to see a striker who can hold up the ball and bring these pacey players into the game. McClure to start and JP to come on and make a late impact.

I think our main sticking point is being stuck with Kuffour as I think that it is probably blocking us getting another striker! I don't dislike Pittman as like you say Rocky he has had impact on certain games but I see him more as an impact sub rather than a regular starter.

However, I do appreciate that Gaz is working with the limited resources he has available so a good striker who can hold up the ball is not likely to be readily available and/or affordable. Also, judging by Gaz' signings since he has been in charge he seems to like to sign young, physically fit players who are quick so maybe he just doesn't fancy that kind of striker. I do think that limits us in certain games such as Bradford last year where we couldn't retain the ball and they just kept sending it back.
