Even if there´s not much we can say
    That´s positive about the day,
    It was good to see
    James Vaughan in the spree
As most had thought he´d lost his way

But we knew that Blackburn would fight
With all that they had in their might,
    To help keep alive
    Their chance to survive
And this may have helped in their plight

With them having so much to lose
No-one should have thought it a cruise,
    As we´ve said before
    No side is so poor
Up here, not to give them their dues

And alright, the point that we had
To begin with, would not have been bad,
    To have at the end
    But when Mr. Friend
Blew up, only Blackburn were glad

But I know when Alby appeared
With Pilks, the attacks that they speared,
    Almost reaped reward
    And if we had scored
Then, Rovers might just have been scared

But as it is, the search goes on
For the one point which before long,
    Will ensure our stay
    Perhaps Saturday
When Liverpool come from up yon. OTBC

    Enjoy your week all,

    Yours, :)

Hi RBF. Disappointing, given the manner of our play, that we're still searching for that elusive point of safety!

I thought we played ok, had plenty of possession, just couldn't find the net! They had a defensive gift for their first, and a wonder goal for their second! Why does Hoilett save them up for us?

As you say sir, maybe next week will give us something to celebrate!

    <cheers>

Well we´ve got two chances Dave, either we get a point at home, or QPR fail to win at Chelsea, can´t really believe they´ll pull it off two weeks running, after all they only had one shot of note on target against Spurs.

That you can count upon Superman, but we were very close a couple of times in the 2nd half yesterday, and very disappointing to let Hoilett get away with the same trick twice in the same season, having it done at home ought to have been a warning. <yikes>

first goal was extremely poor but although i take your point about the hoilett goal, the lad still had to produce an outstanding effort to score from there. 9 times out of ten it'd have resulted in a goal kick. just one of those days where everything went wrong - though we did get away with another stone-wall penalty against us!
