According to the daily mail... He wants a payout of 2.5 mil to leave!!! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...7/Liverpool-struggle-pay-Milan-Jovanovic.html
He won't get anywhere near that,as he's not earned it.He'll be drop kicked out of the club.I reckon even Stevie will drive him to the airport.****ing mercenary.
feel sorry for him,but he couldnt cut it in the prem especially with us.out of his depth to be honest.
Seriously how much is the agent and how much is the player, with Rooney it is all agent, he's happy with an old tire on a rope
Fair point Raul, but it probably is. If I had no link to the club and they had given me like 5 games to achieve something, then I might try and milk them. However its Liverpool, so **** him!
The Daily Mail about as safe as a Scottish goalkeeper for reporting the truth!! Biggest Bullshit rags....Mail,Scum,Express,Times.
I wonder what his contract states. It might just be worth letting him rot until his contract runs out. Might be cheaper than 2.5 upfront, probably not though.
He can go, Kenny needs to get rid of the sub-par players. That includes players like Jovanovic and Kyrgiakos etc....
Agreed - with the top part anyway. If you were in his shoes, ie had a contract any were trying to be forced out then maybe you would do the same ? Footballers careers are short and they always ahve to look for the best potential deal. Not WUMing just trying to add some balance to the topic.
Something's not right today. Mancs posting sensible comments! It all depends what it says in his contract at the end of the day. I'm not sure the Mail would have been able to see his contract so it's probably just a rumour someone has made up.
To be fair to the player, do we know what he himself has said? Agents try to get moves for their players and make the most money out of them. Journos write any old drivel to sell papers, the more controversial they can make it the more attention it gets. All they have to do is start off with something that is vaguely accurate then elaborate all they want.
Well both him and poulson said earlier that they had no intention of leaving adn wanted to fight for their places. Just wish they'd bloody leave, that's the biggest way they could help us!
I feel sorry for him; Rafa promised he'd get game time when he bought him, since then he's been through 2 other managers and neither wants him in their plans. If that were to happen to me I'd be a bit angry. Then again; like someone said - it's not really justification to fork out 2.5m (nearly as much as we paid for him) in compensation when we've been paying his wages for the year.
