... always thought he was convincing in whatever role he took.

He's not as high profile as the so-called 'national treasures' but I prefer him because he never looked like he was acting.

Great voice covered a wide range of roles, first noticed him in White Mischief, and thought he was excellent in The Hunt for Red October.

The one that sprung to mind for me was The Hunt for Red October, one of my favourites.
