A couple of weeks ago on KOL, Josh was saying how he was going to challenge Fishy for RB spot (his favoured position) He said the only thing Matt had over him was exprerience. Which seemed to imply it was just between the two of them. Since then Gills have selected two seperate trialists for this position. Has Josh been mislead?
I think it will just be between those two but personally I would rather see another player come in as a back from injury after a year fish (who has never played at this level I think and initially struggled to step up to League 2) and a teenager with very limited first team experience do not really scream strongest position! I see Gavin Hoyte still hasn't joined a club and I wouldn't be adversed to see him offered a 12 month contract.
