Out of curiosity, how many of you believed he'd do so well when he was appointed in 2008? Personally, at the time I thought it was an odd decision (1 season at Barca B before being appointed) and what he's done since then has been incredible, creating arguably one of the greatest sides ever (although he did inherit a very talented group of individuals)
Quite remarkable what he has done as manager, however would he be able to be a good manager somewhere else? I am not so sure.
I'm working on it but I think I'm the Joey Barton of this forum. Even if I say something good I'm still abused.
Maybe you should change your username to something more Barton related? May I suggest "RIP Barton's Tash" (a humourous reference to the facial hair he grew in jest earlier in the season, but has since been removed; hence the "RIP").
