It's official, our poor form is down to players having to adapt to Joses' style. So far they're not adapting very well.
So it seems we will have to watch the team perform like headless chickens until the penny drops, and a new, smooth attacking style evolves..Jose doesn't like the way we played the last 2 years, nor does the Club apparently.
So patience is required from all. Wonder whose will run out first???
Maybe Jose needs to adapt his ideas a little as well, and play to our strengths until he gets the key players he needs to bring about the changes he wants. Hard to see much changing unless we get a decent striker and a midfielder who can run the show, so expect January will be important.
Knowing Jose, he WILL get it happening, just hope we can hang around the top 4 until it comes right.

I can live with that CP , as long as he can get it sorted within the next week! If it goes on longer than that I could become suicidal!

You get even more suicidal watching it alone in a dark room at 4am !!!!!!! Hope RA is as patient as we will have to be !! It will all come good against Fulham.

Jose has been destroyed by his failure at Madrid, his interviews since he came back have been rambling and disjointed just like his team.

it was not really broke yet jose was always going to "try" to fix it. hazard looks stationary, mata who was at the hub of everything last season not fancied, torres who has worked his socks off for the team and looked like he could be ready for a good season is benched so jose little fav eto can come straight in as number 1 striker. i think its time jose got his head out of his own back side.

Why would any managers in the world want to change the style of the Mata,Hazard,Oscar trio of last season that was excellent? Why would you want to change that to 3 workhorses like Oscar,Willian,Schurlle. If the change of style means dumping skill for work rate then I really can't see RA being for it as Jose suggests. It will be a short return at this rate Jose.

Agreed. Somehow Jose is starting to believe his own hype. This is the most worrying aspect of this troubled period. <ok>

Agree with this. Just can't get my head around why Jose can"t adapt HIS thinking and play to our strengths.Surely he doesn't need to make each team the mirror image of his last ??? Surely he can up the work rate, impose some more discipline to our defence without shackling our amazing attackers and turning them into drones ???
He does seem to already have his favourites, Oscar, Frank, Eto'o,Cole and Ivan, while Mata must have put a laxative in Joses' coffee to be getting the treatment he is.
We all know what Jose does't want , but just what DOES he want ???? Wish he'd tell us cause I can't work it out. All I see is a confused, ineffective attack, a stumbling fumbling midfield and a defence no better than last year but without the flair Luiz added.
In the words of John Lennon. " You say you want a revolution, well Jose,..... we'd all like to see the plan "
I'm sure we all rate Jose very highly, time he gave the fans a clue or two ??

He is a bit weird I agree, and I am struggling to see what he's trying to bring to the team. Not too flash so far that's certain. Then again, he doesn't get 7 mill a year for being a dope !!!

He says he wants to change styles. It will end in tears. It is one thing playing boring dull football and winning trophies but being dull and trophiless will be unacceptable to Roman. <ok>

Reluctantly I would have to agree wiv that statement - in addition to that list has been the mind-boggling decision to send Lukaku to Everton for the rest of the season which could potentially increase the number of clubs chasing the top 4 places to 7; in theory Jose could bring him back at Xmas but that would mean him losing his shield of armour.

Im totally frustrated and confused by the whole thing . Yesterdays game was awful to watch, Hazard who is a brilliant player looks lost atm (as do some others) and Mata well that beggars belief, I was gobsmacked to hear the after match talk Jose on Mata ! Top players being told they have to change how they play, can anyone see that happening ? PG he knows what he is doing this time around

Indeed. He has spoken about a more attacking style and yet all we are seeing right now is a reverting to Jose's teams of old.

If he doesn't want Mata why the **** did he keep him? I am sure that had Mata been in the mix we'd have had Rooney.
