It's not very often I do an On Topic thread, about football so pay attention folk.

He seems convinced he's gonna have a job in England this summer.

As a United fan, I can't see it being us, something just doesn't sit right and it's to do with him being all about him, it goes against everything our club stands for employing somebody who thinks they are bigger than the club.

    Anyway...

It won't be City - Pep
It won't be Chelsea, cos that would be stupid and - Conte
It won't be Liverpool - Klopp
It won't be Arsenal... it just won't, unless Wenger is secretly retiring.
It might be Spurs if United got Pochettino, but again... I'm not convinced.
The rest really don't have the money.

So... England? why not... would you accept him over Hodgson after the Euro's?

    Give him 4 years.

I'd probably be over the moon to have a proper tactician in charge of our country, a football mastermind, the first since Bobby Robson... I might even start to believe again.

As good as he is, and thats very good. I hate the idea of foreign managers managing England..

The nation where its origins lye resorting to a Portugese peacock.

I couldn't give a solitary **** about the England team.
The FA wouldn't appoint him anyway as he's not a yes man.
And if by some chance they do, I still don't give a toss.

Why because the media have said so?

Some of it adds up, huge manager, huge club, but the rest doesn't.

The one huge thing that sticks out like a sore thumb, is that he's absolutely terrible with kids and that's the opposite of what we are all about.

Nah, me neither mate, I was just wondering if you could be swayed to care... maybe if the team showed some passion like Leicester.

There's got to be some hope in there, imagine a bunch of triers, young kids like Rashford, Alli, not ego's like Lampard and Gerrard... lifting a trophy for the country, maybe it'd restore some pride that the bling boys destroyed.

Not so much the Media, but more the expressions of Mourinho when it is mentioned...Not sure if it will be a good thing though..

I found a thread on the best pair of tits, 3 pages long, the NSFW wrap around was gone... must have been when the site was updated. So it's just tits out on display, I 'liked' one of Billy's posts on it so maybe he went and had a look, bit of beaver as well from Mackem's Rule... not one ****ing comment from you. <laugh>

I didn't bump it because it'd just have been pulled.

Yeah, his body language is confusing... I think it's just his confidence, he thinks he'll have a job, fair play to him, he probably will. Who knows he might end up at Fulham and surprise us all, he lives down that way, maybe he'll go low key!

In my opinion though, I just can't see it. I think we're far more likely to want Pochettino :) ... or keep Van Gaal for another year... :(

I reckon he's nailed on for utd. I also think he will get you back to your former glory.

Our former glory was based on scoring goals and fast attacking football, whilst developing our own youth... If he brought that to United, I'd love it, but it goes against what he does. I won't be disappointed, I'll just be a bit confused I think.

Aye maybe, let's see what happens.
Enjoyed your game with West Ham last night.
Found it thoroughly enjoyable to watch as a neutral.

Great game mate, end to end, apart from Noble being a ****ing ****er, Mr West Ham went too far imo, Herrera was genuinely injured.

Our youngsters are exciting the fans, we know we're not the same old United, but these lads are making us proud again.
