£10 million's a lot though if it's true - good business for Ashley.

A shame little or none of it will get spent on new players.

Quite frankly, I'm fed up with this entire saga. Would rather have players who want to be here playing with passion. Only worry is the lack of replacement but as this transfer has been inevitable for quite sometime at least it gives us more time to find a new left back.

Still...he could have done so much better than the bindippers. Words don't convey my hatred for them!

Not convinced with those sources to be honest, seen them last night and none of the major news sources have said anything about.

Is it CWAR from Twitter in disguise!!!

£10million is a great deal. Even if he spends £3mill of that to get a new LB that can also play CB .......cough.....Ridgewell......cough!!!

I won't believe it til I see it on nufc.com or nufc.co.uk. Can't be arsed with him if he's not happy anymore, not that I can blame him like.

Lets hope it's reinvested. Mark Douglas says we have opened negotiations with Barnetta. :)

It's starting to piss me off how all these football fanzine sites are suddenly experts on every EPL team spouting crap and second guessing stuff.

Not having a pop at you Joker but Sportsvibe and Emirates247!!!!

Every other story on NewsNow seems to be some moron getting his soap box out to give his views and opinions on what's going on at SJP.

As AAP says until it's on NUFC.co.uk or NUFC.com I won't belive it

NUFC.com hasn't been updated yet today.

The thing is, if you get fed up with your job or employer you start looking elsewhere, and things have been less than perfect recently. It's a pity about Jose because he's a great LB and we'll really miss him. Just wonder who's going to be next.

I'n not exactly shocked to be honest. 10m is a good deal and they are going places in my opinion. Good move for him and decent money for the club to pay off some more debts. Be nice to think we'll get someone in but the signs are not good. We'll see you never know, they may be fully aware that it would be crazy to go into the season with no recognised full back (Ferguson being a natural winger, Kadar being a natural centre back). We know this deal or some other taking him elsewhere will happen so I'd prefer they get it out of the way quickly. If they had no intention of spending any money they'd probably do the usual and sell him with an hour to go. I'm not fussed either way now. Its a shame we are not able to offer Enrique the environment he needs. Obviously a replacement is required but if it doesn't come there is no point in moaning.

Seriously? He can move to a club with one of richest histories in the land, who are spending a fortune and going places, have a healthy looking squad, and are almost certain to be in the mix for Europa League/ CL places. Liverpool like it or not are a very progressive unit at present. Yes they are paying way over the odds on some players but they have bought good players. Carroll - outstanding and unstoppable with the correct supply. One of the hottest properties around. Suarez - surpremely talented and already found his feet. Was one of the most sought after players post world cup. Adam - one of the finds of the season and has a wonderful left peg. (Carroll to benefit) Henderson - excellent young talent who several wanted. Man U were keeping tabs but the deal was too rich. Ferguson is rarely wrong with youngsters. Yes he played for unwashed but he is talented for his age, albeit as with Carroll the fee was silly. Downing - Classy left sider who has just had his best season. Again expensive but a great addition. (again Carroll) And lets not forget this is all supplemented with one of the best youth systems around. They have the next big thing in Sterling, Kelly, Flanagan, Spearing, Pacheco, Wilson, Suso and Shelvey all who have big reputations.

    Honestly its a no brainer.
